2. Roundtable Forced Migration Studies on “Research-policy Relations in the Context of (Forced) Migration”

Thursday, December 7, 2023, 11:00-01:00pm (followed by lunch)
Bonner Universitätsforum, Heussallee 18-24, 53113 Bonn

We cordially invite researchers from all disciplines and institutions (universities, universities of applied sciences, non-university research institutions, think tanks) as well as practitioners and experts from NGOs, associations, policy, etc. to our Second Roundtable on (Forced) Migration Studies. This roundtable will focus on research-policy relations in the context of (forced) migration.

For our program, we are delighted to hear exciting inputs from:
Dr. Franck Düvell, Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS): Learnings from the FFVT Project: Interlinking political, media, public and scientific debates
Felix Leßke, German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval): Evaluation of development cooperation at DEval - The reference group model in policy advice using the example of the evaluation of return and reintegration

This is followed by a World Café in which we will jointly discuss questions and challenges around science-policy-relations concerning (1) research ethics, (2) research practice and methodologies, and (3) science communication in (forced) migration research.
